Creating a Lasting Impact at Hendrix College
Major gifts and endowments provide enduring support for the people, programs, and opportunities that define the Hendrix experience. Through endowed scholarships, academic programs, faculty support, and campus initiatives, donors help ensure that future generations of students have access to the transformative liberal arts education that has distinguished Hendrix for 150 years.
Whether you wish to support student success, strengthen a favorite academic program, or create a lasting family legacy, major gifts offer meaningful opportunities to shape the future of Hendrix College.
What is the Hendrix College Endowment?
The Hendrix College endowment serves as a permanent source of support for the College’s mission. Endowed funds are invested to generate annual income while preserving the principal, allowing each gift to provide benefits for generations to come.
Endowment support helps Hendrix:
- Expand access to a Hendrix education through scholarships and financial aid.
- Strengthen academic programs and innovative learning opportunities.
- Support faculty excellence and student research.
- Provide long-term financial stability for the College.
- Sustain programs that enrich the student experience both inside and outside the classroom.
