Working closely with faculty advisors, students complete a strong liberal arts foundation and the prerequisite coursework needed to continue their engineering studies at one of our partner institutions, preparing them for success in a wide range of engineering careers.

Roadmap to the Engineering Dual Degree
Every student in the Engineering Dual Degree Program takes classes in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and foundational sciences. Through experiential learning opportunities, you also develop hands-on design skills, think critically, problem solve, and apply scientific and engineering concepts to real-world challenges.
Year One
Our First-Year Experience gives you the freedom to discover what you care about most and find a path to get there. Your coursework this year allows you to master the foundations of mathematics, the natural sciences, and computer science. You also begin to learn how engineering principles can be applied to solve complex, real-world problems while building the academic foundation for your chosen engineering pathway.
Year Two
In your second year, you will have a stronger vision of what your academic experience and career planning look like. Your integrated advising team of faculty, career counselors, and mentors will ensure that the things you study align with your future goals while still providing room to explore.
Year Three
Your third year includes a required full-time co-op. For one semester, you earn credit while applying knowledge from your coursework in a professional setting.
Year Four
