Program Overview & Goals
Students interested in veterinary medicine receive personalized guidance through Hendrix’s pre-professional advising pathway. Working closely with faculty advisors, students complete the prerequisite coursework required for veterinary school while building a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and other natural sciences.
Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to strengthen their veterinary school applications through undergraduate research, internships, shadowing experiences, and other opportunities to work with animals and veterinary professionals.
